Thursday, Canon U.S.A. Inc. (CAJ) appointed Chris Duca as President of Virtual Imaging Inc., a subsidiary of the company. Through Virtual Imaging's system integration capabilities, Canon U.S.A.'s Medical Systems Division delivers a full-range of complete medical X-ray imaging and healthcare system solutions.
Duca began his career in the medial imaging field in 1984 and has focused on CT and MRI development and service. He established Integrated Technologies in 1993 and was appointed Vice President and chief operating officer of Virtual Imaging when the two companies merged in 2005. Prior to Integrated Technologies, Duca worked for several years as part of a management team that re-organized management structure and auditing processes for companies.
