Team Inc. (TISI) reported net income for the second quarter of $5.8 million or $0.30 per share, compared to $10.22 million or $0.51 per share in the year-ago quarter.
Excluding the non-routine costs, net income would have been $6.6 million or $0.34 per share.
Revenues for the quarter decreased to $123.29 million from $148.75 million in the prior-year quarter.
On average, analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.30 per share, on revenues of $122.26 million for the quarter. Analysts estimates typically exclude special items.
Team is affirming its earnings guidance of $0.85 to $1.05 per share for fiscal year 2010.
Analysts currently expect earnings of $0.95 per share for fiscal 2010.
