Thursday, The Buckle Inc. (BKE) said its comparable store net sales for the month of December increased 6.6% from the prior year period. Net sales for the period rose 12.1% to $147.1 million from $131.2 million in the year-ago period.
Comparable store net sales year-to-date for the 48-week period ended January 2, 2010 increased 8.5% from the previous year. Net sales for the period grew 14.0% to $848.1 million from $744.0 million in the comparable period.
