Thursday, TranS1 Inc. (TSON) appointed Ken Reali as President and Chief Operating Officer. Reali has more than 20 years of general management, sales and marketing experience with leading medical device and orthopedic companies. He joins TranS1 from Smith & Nephew where he was most recently Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Biologics and Spine Business. Prior to Smith & Nephew, Reali held positions with Stryker and Biomet.
TranS1 Inc., a medical device company, focuses on the design, development, and marketing of products that implement its proprietary surgical approach to treat degenerative disc disease and instability affecting the lower lumbar region of the spine.
