Friday, GameStop Corp. (GME) announced the appointment of Michael Mauler to Executive Vice President of GameStop International. The company stated that the appointment will encompass the operational leadership of GameStop's locations in 15 countries outside of North America. Mauler was formerly the company's Senior Vice President of Supply Chain and International Support.
Richard Fontaine, Executive Chairman of GameStop,said,"Mike's leadership qualities as Senior Vice President of Supply Chain and International Support have been instrumental in developing the infrastructure, distribution capabilities, and international online sales strategies to support our continued international growth."
GameStop said its U.S. and Canadian operations will continue to be directed by Paul Raines, GameStop's Chief Operating Officer.
