Washington Post Co. (WPO) announced that it has appointed Jenny Abramson as general manager of The Washington Post's conferences and events business unit. In her new role, Abramson will oversee all business aspects of Post-branded live events, which will focus on topics of local, national, and international interest.
Under The Post's newsroom guidelines, conferences and other events will be on the record and the newsroom will determine the topics and the content of each conference.
