Friday, Harsco Corp. (HSC) announced its receipt of two multi-year specialty metal processing services contracts having a combined value that could be as much as $70 million over their duration, including one contract at a new operating location for Harsco.
The contracts, both with specialty metals producer ATI Allegheny Ludlum, call for a range of on-site by-product handling and metal recovery services at two of Allegheny Ludlum's larger facilities, its Midland, PA and Brackenridge, PA plants in Western Pennsylvania.
Harsco said it has been providing services at the Brackenridge site since 1972, and will now add similar services at the Midland plant, where Allegheny Ludlum produces high quality stainless steel slabs. Harsco also provides onsite services to Allegheny Ludlum's Latrobe, PA specialty metals plant.
