Brightpoint Completes Repurchase Of 9.2 Mln Shares Under Previously Announced Share Buyback Program - Quick Facts

Brightpoint, Inc. (CELL) said Friday that it has completed the repurchase of 9,187,164 shares from Partner Escrow Holding A/S, an affiliate of NC Telecom Holding A/S for $6.20 per share.

The company also repurchased 60,102 shares as a result of a put option granted by the company that was exercised by certain individuals.

All of the repurchases were part of the Company's previously announced $80 million share repurchase program. As a result of the repurchases, the company has repurchased a total of 12,397,360 shares at a weighted average price of $5.95 per share and $6.2 million remains available to the company for repurchases under the repurchase program.

Based on the completion of the latest repurchases, the company currently estimates between 73.5 million and 74.5 million as-adjusted diluted weighted average shares to be outstanding during 2010.
