Panera Bread Co. (PNRA) announced after the bell Wednesday that fourth quarter Company-owned comparable bakery-cafe sales increased 7.4% on a calendar basis. The company now expects to report fourth quarter EPS between $0.94 and $0.95, including $0.05 per diluted share of non recurring charges. The stock is now up 3.20 on 77K shares.
Panera Bread dipped slightly around midday Wednesday and finished down by 0.49 at $68.39. The stock pulled back from the upper end of a one-month range at the highs of the year.
