Affiliated Computer Services Inc. (ACS) reported net income of $96 million or $0.97 per share for the second quarter, compared to $75.5 million or $0.77 per share in the year-ago quarter.
Adjusted net income was $106.0 million or $1.07 per share, compared to $83.0 million or $0.85 per share in the previous year quarter.
Revenues for the second quarter increased to $1.66 billion from $1.61 billion in the prior year quarter.
Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report earnings of $0.99 per share on revenue of $1.71 billion for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
