Plexus Corp. (PLXS) reported first quarter EPS of $0.44 after the close Wednesday, compared to $0.43 last year. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $0.34. Plexus Corp. gapped open higher Thursday and trading to the upside until mid-morning. The stock moved in a narrow range for the remainder of the session and closed higher by $4.09 at $33.07 on the highest volume of the year. Plexus rose past resistance and set a new high for the year.
