Heart have just been added to the line-up of artists set to perform at Lilith Fair 2010. The female festival will make its big comeback after an 11-year hiatus with stops in 15 new cities and other newly announced performers, including Loretta Lynn, Norah Jones, Gossip and Cat Power.
"When I first started out, they said girl singers couldn't sell records or concert tickets," Lynn said in a statement. "We've come a long way since then and we're gonna have a big time out there!"
Other acts appearing at Lilith Fair 2010 include La Roux, Sia, Beth Orton, Ceci Bastida, Erin McCarley, Frazey Ford, Julia Othmer, Kate Nash, Lights, Missy Higgins and Priscilla Renae.
The fair's organizers also announced that the tour will stop in 15 additional cities, including Detroit, Nashville, Phoenix, San Diego and Houston. Additional artists and dates for each city will be announced in the coming weeks.
Heart released their last studio album, Jupiter's Darling, in 2004, and are expected to release their 13th album sometime this year. The effort will include two songs - "Mine" and "Civilian" - the band co-wrote with fellow female rock duo 78violet.
