Green Mountain Coffee Roasters (GMCR) reported first quarter EPS of $0.27 after the close Wednesday, which came in above the consensus estimate of $0.16. The company increased its second quarter EPS forecast to between $0.56 and $0.61 and its full year 2010 EPS guidance to between $1.95 and $2.05.
Green Mountain Coffee Roasters gapped up Thursday morning and has continued to rise on above average volume. Shares are now up 5.68 at $85.70. The stock is challenging the upper end of a one-month range at the highs of the year.
