Wednesday, Regency Centers Corp. (REG) reported fourth-quarter funds from operations or FFO of $58.0 million, compared to $50.8 million in the same quarter last year. On a per share basis, FFO was $0.71 per share, down from $0.72 per share in the comparable quarter last year.
Recurring FFO for the quarter was $50.9 million or $0.63 per share, compared to $63.6 million or $0.90 per share in the year ago quarter.
Net income attributable to common stockholders for the quarter was $25.3 million or $0.31 per share, compared to $14.0 million or $0.20 per share in the prior year quarter.
On average, 15 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.65 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
The company's board also declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.4625 per share, payable on March 3, 2010 to shareholders of record on February 17, 2010.
