Buckle, Inc. (BKE) announced that comparable store net sales for the four-week period ended January 30, 2010 decreased 1.2% from comparable store net sales for the four-week period ended January 31, 2009. Net sales for the four-week fiscal month ended January 30, 2010 increased 4.4% to $50.2 million from net sales of $48.0 million for the prior year four-week fiscal month ended January 31, 2009.
Comparable store net sales for the 13-week fourth quarter ended January 30, 2010 increased 3.8% from comparable store net sales for the prior year 13-week fourth quarter ended January 31, 2009. Net sales for the 13-week fiscal period ended January 30, 2010 increased 9.2% to $274.4 million from net sales of $251.4 million for the prior year 13-week fiscal period ended January 31, 2009.
