American Axle & Manufacturing Holdings Turns To Q4 Profit - Quick Facts

Friday, American Axle & Manufacturing Holdings Inc. or AAM (AXL) said its fourth-quarter net income was $48.6 million or $0.80 per share compared with a net loss of $112.1 million or $2.17 per share in the prior year period.

On average, 7 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report earnings of $0.12 per share for the quarter.

Fourth-quarter sales were $464.0 million, down from $503.0 million in the comparable period. Four analysts estimated revenues of $459.53 million for the quarter.

AAM expects full year 2010 sales to range from $1.9 billion to $2.1 billion. Six analysts estimate revenues of $2.18 billion for the year.
