Joe Jonas will not make his debut on ABC's Brothers and Sisters due to scheduling conflicts, according to Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello.

The singer will no longer appear as the young Tommy Walker, a character portrayed by Balthazar Getty. Instead, he will be replaced by Cody Longo of Make It or Break It, who confirmed his role on Twitter, saying, "Meeting with Balthazar Getty today to prep and recur as a younger him on Brothers & Sisters."

Though the details of the cancellation are unconfirmed, Joe Jonas' fans can rest assured that they will see the middle brother on the screen before long. In a recent interview with E! Online, the singer said that he plans to use his time away from his brothers to focus on his career as an actor.

"I'm looking forward to doing more acting," he said. "I know everybody says this, but I want to be able to do everything. I won't be satisfied until I'm ready to do every kind of role - from a villain to a comedian."
