Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corp. (SMI) reported a net loss attributable to the company of US$482.3 million or US$1.08 per ADS for the fourth quarter, compared to a loss of US$139.5 million or US$0.37 per ADS in the prior year quarter.
Revenue increased 22.2% to US$333.1 million from US$272.5 million in the year-ago quarter.
For the first quarter 2010, the company anticipates revenue to range from flat to 2% increase.
