Bidding began today for the online auction organized by Miley Cyrus to help raise money for Haiti's earthquake relief effort.

Numerous collectibles have been rounded up for the auction by the 17-year-old star, including jewelry from Nicole Richie and a dress from Britney Spears.

"Ever since the earthquake, I've been trying to do my part to help the people of Haiti - and I wanted to do more," Cyrus told People.

Cyrus also donated a few things of her own, including the dress that she wore to the Grammys, as well as two tickets to the Hollywood premiere of her upcoming film, The Last Song. Other items to be auctioned off include tickets to Hugh Jackman's next movie premiere, Whoopi Goldberg's tennis shoes and Demi Lovato's tour wardrobe.

"I want to get people involved and show that even the little things you can do can make a difference," Cyrus said.

All proceeds from the online auction will go the American Red Cross. People can bid on the items at Ebay.com/Miley.
