The US dollar recovered from early morning session's downtrend versus the Canadian dollar in New York mid-day deals on Monday. After touching a 1 1/2 -month low of 1.0253 by about 9:40 am ET, the greenback reversed its direction versus the loonie and currently trading near 1.0289. The dollar-loonie pair was worth 1.0307 at last week's close.
