The-Dream has revealed that he would like his latest album, Love King, to be his last.

In an interview with MTV News, the Atlanta native said, "I really would like it to be the last one if I could — in a perfect world."

The-Dream, who first hinted about his intention to quit singing at the end of last year, knows that what he wants may not actually happen.

"In the back of my mind, I'm thinking a fighter fights," he said. "You don't retire on top. [Michael] Jordan didn't retire on top. I'm not saying I'm the best [like him], but I'm the best at what I can do. And I can stop now and say, 'This album is pretty good.'"

The-Dream, who is married to R&B/pop singer Christina Milian, recently welcomed his first daughter, Violet, on February 26.
