Iceland's unemployment rate rose to 9.3% in February from 9% in January, the country's Directorate of Labor said on Wednesday.
The unemployment rate among males climbed to 10.2% in February from 9.9% in January, while that among females was up to 8.1% from 7.9%.
Some 3,100 young people were without a job in February, slightly higher than in January.
