A Los Angeles court has postponed a hearing to review Britney Spears' ongoing conservatorship. Spears was initially scheduled to appear before the court last month but reportedly missed the hearing due to a "misunderstanding."
Last December, courts ruled that the singer was to remain under the legal control of her father, Jamie Spears, upholding a conservatorship put in place after the singer suffered a psychological breakdown in 2008.
"She is so out of it she just doesn't care anymore," a source close to Spears told TMZ last December. "She just does what she's told and is totally in her world. She'll even call people at all hours of night for a general conversation and acts like it's the middle of the day or something."
As part of the ruling, Spears was reportedly ordered to pay her father $16,000 a month for his services as a caretaker and business overseer.
