BioMed Realty Trust Promotes Greg Lubushkin To CFO - Update

Real estate investment trust BioMed Realty Trust, Inc. (BMR) Wednesday said it promoted Greg Lubushkin to the post of chief financial officer.

Lubushkin joined the San Diego, California-based company in April 2007 and has served as vice president and chief accounting officer.

Prior to joining BioMed, Lubushkin served as chief accounting officer of ECC Capital Corp. and was an audit partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.

Kent Griffin, president and chief operating officer said, "Greg has been an integral member of our management team since his arrival at BioMed in 2007. He has demonstrated skilled leadership, a breadth and depth of financial knowledge and business acumen throughout his tenure as our Chief Accounting Officer. We value his judgment and professionalism, and I look forward to working closely with Greg in his expanded role."

BioMed, a provider of real estate to the life science industry, noted that Kent Griffin has relinquished the title of chief financial officer and will retain the titles of president and chief operating officer. Griffin has served as president and chief operating officer since December 2008 and held the position of the company's chief financial officer since March 2006.

BMR is currently trading at $16.73, up $0.03 or 0.18%, on a volume of 267,801 thousand shares.
