Blue Coat Systems Is Rising After Naming New CEO

Blue Coat Systems (BCSI) announced after the close Tuesday that its Board of Directors named Michael J. Borman as President and CEO and Brian M. NeSmith as Chief Product Officer, effective September 1, 2010.

Blue Coat Systems gapped up at the open Wednesday and has continued to rise on above average volume. Shares are now up 1.85 at $20.68. The stock has climbed to a 3-week high and has re-crossed its 50-day moving average.
