Yoko Ono has confirmed more details for the upcoming performances by the Plastic Ono Band at the Orpheum Theater in Los Angeles on October 1 and 2. The all-star shows will now feature performances by Lady Gaga, Perry Farrell, Iggy Pop, and Vincent Gallo.
The L.A. performances follow a well-received pair of shows at New York's Brooklyn Academy of Music in February. Those shows featured guest slots by the likes of Paul Simon, Eric Clapton, Thurston Moore and Bette Midler.
Other performers scheduled to appear at the October 1 and 2 events include actress Carrie Fisher, Haruomi Hosono, Harper Simon, Tune-Yards, Wilco's Nels Cline and Mike Watt. Tickets for the event went on sale on August 7 and range from $60 to $150.
Ono will also take the band to Iceland next month for a celebration of John Lennon's 70th birthday. The performance will take place in the capital city of Reykjavik and will be just one of several events to celebrate the Beatle's life. Yoko Ono will be on hand for the inaugural lighting of the Imagine Peace tower located on the island of Vioey.
