Lady Gaga is featured on this month's cover of V Magazine, donning the attire of Marc Jacobs as she portrays New York City's Lady Liberty.
"Just as the Statue of Liberty was France's gift to America, Gaga is, to us, New York's greatest gift to pop culture and fashion," said editor Stephen Gan.
On the cover, Gaga is shown in a black bra and panties holding a burning paper torch while a sheet is draped across her bottom half. The songstress also teased her hair to make it look like Lady Liberty's crown.
This will be the "Alejandro" singer's second appearance this year on the cover of V Magazine. Her last cover was also shot by Mario Testino, who shot this current cover as well.
