The Australian dollar slumped to a 1-week low of 0.9478 against the Canadian dollar by 12:40 am ET Tuesday following the Reserve Bank of Australia kept its benchmark interest rate at 4.5%. The aussie-loonie pair is presently worth 0.9486 with 0.9420 seen as the next likely support level.
