Pointer Telocation Ltd. (PNTR) said that David Mahlab ex CEO & President of Scopus Video Networks Ltd. will be replacing Danny Stern as the company's Chief Executive Officer. Mahlab will commence his office as Chief Executive Officer on February 1, 2011.
The company stated that Danny Stern will be stepping down after more than five and a half years of successful and challenging tenure.
In addition the company stated that David brings with him extensive experience in building successful enterprises and opening new markets.

The Federal Reserve policy session was in focus as it was the first to be led by the new chief Kevin Warsh. In Europe, central banks of the U.K. and Switzerland announced their rate decisions. In Asia, the Bank of Japan drew attention for its policy moves, while data out of China threw some light on the state of the economy.
