Lady Gaga and Katy Perry have both confirmed performances at the upcoming 53rd Annual Grammy Awards. The show will air live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 13 at 8 PM on CBS.
Gaga and Perry will not only perform, but are both also nominated for several awards at this year's show. Lady Gaga has pulled down six nods this year including Album Of The Year and Best Pop Vocal Album for The Fame Monster; Best Female Pop Vocal Performance, and Best Short Form Music Video for "Bad Romance"; Best Pop Collaboration With Vocals for "Telephone" (with Beyonce); and Best Dance Recording for "Dance In The Dark."
Katy is nominated for four awards this year including Album Of The Year and Best Pop Vocal Album for Teenage Dream, Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for "Teenage Dream," and Best Pop Collaboration With Vocals for "California Gurls" (with Snoop Dogg).
The pair join an impressive cast of performers already confirmed for the event including Eminem, indie rock giants Arcade Fire, country star Miranda Lambert and "F*ck You" hitmaker Cee-Lo Green.
Eminem leads this year's nominees earning 10 nods in album, song, and performance categories.
