FOX News Channel, a unit of News Corp. (NWS,NWSA), said it has appointed Jay Wallace as Vice President of News and Senior Executive Producer of News and Politics.
As Vice President of News, Wallace will assist in overseeing the strategic planning and managing of the news division.
In his position as Senior Executive Producer of News and Politics, he will oversee special political programming in addition to being responsible for the daily production of all news shows and breaking news coverage.
Most recently, Wallace served as Vice President of News Editorial Product, a position he held since June of 2008.
