Ulta Salon, Cosmetics & Fragrance (ULTA) gapped open higher Wednesday and rose sharply in the first 45 minutes of trade. The stock extended its gains late in the afternoon and finished up by 3.24 at $53.02.
Ulta Salon climbed past the upper end of a 2-week trading range Wednesday and closed at a new high for the year.
