Auto parts supplier Johnson Controls, Inc. (JCI) is slated to post results for the second quarter. The company is expected to earn $0.55 per share on revenues of $9.37 billion. In the same quarter a year earlier, the company reported earnings of $0.43 per share on revenues of $8.32 billion. The company's shares closed regular trade on Thursday at $40.73. RadioShack Corp. (RSH) is due to report first-quarter results. The company is expected to record a profit of $0.35 per share compared to $0.39 per share in the year-ago quarter, with revenues estimated at $1.07 billion. RSH closed Thursday's session at $15.83. Emulex Corp. (ELX) is scheduled to post quarterly results. Also, the company expects to generate revenues of $110.49 million, higher than $102.20 million in the prior-year quarter. On Thursday, the stock closed at $9.98. Coal producer Arch Coal, Inc. (ACI) is expected to report first-quarter results. The company is expected to earn $0.32 per share on revenues of $830.88 million, while in the previous year, earnings and revenues were $0.03 per share and $711.87 million respectively. On the NYSE, the company's shares closed trade on Thursday at $34.64. (The stock rose almost 2% in Q1; MA(50)- $34.08; MA(100)- $33.73; 52-wk H/L $36.99/$19.09)

Ameriprise Financial, Inc. (AMP) will report quarterly results today. The diversified financial services company is expected to record a profit of $1.33 per share for the first quarter, a surge from the year-ago quarter's $0.81 per share. Also, revenues are anticipated to be $2.72 billion for the quarter. The stock closed Thursday at $63.52. (The stock up about 3% in Q1; MA(50)- $62.14; MA(100)- $60.21; 52-wk H/L $65.12/$34.68)

Health Management Associates Inc. (HMA) is due to report first-quarter results. The company is expected to report earnings of $0.21 per share on revenues of $1.46 billion. Last year, the company earned $0.19 per share on revenues of $1.29 billion. The company's shares closed Thursday's regular trade at $10.31. (The stock gained nearly 12% in Q1; MA(50)- $10.22; MA(100)- $9.79; 52-wk H/L $11.65/$6.13)

Netflix, Inc. (NFLX) is slated to post results for the first quarter. The Los Gatos, California-based movie rental service provider expects to earn $1.08 per share versus $0.59 per share in the prior-year quarter, with revenues estimated at $703.6 million. On Thursday, the shares closed at $252.22. (The stock surged almost 33% in Q1; MA(50)- $225.09; MA(100)- $208.38; 52-wk H/L $252.32/$90)

Additionally, Cooper Industries Plc (CBE), Healthways Inc. (HWAY), Express Scripts Inc. (ESRX), J&J Snack Foods Corp. (JJSF), Masco Corp. (MAS), Plum Creek Timber Co. Inc. (PCL), Rent-A-Center Inc. (RCII), Unisys Corp. (UIS), Kimberly-Clark Corp. (KMB), Tuesday Morning Corp. (TUES) and Volterra Semiconductor Corp. (VLTR) will report their results today.
