South Korea Current Account Surplus $3.96 Billion In December

South Korea saw a current account surplus of $3.96 billion in December, the Bank of Korea said on Monday - remaining in the black for the 22dn consecutive month.

That was just shy of forecasts for a surplus of $4 billion, and down from the $5.046 billion surplus in November and the $4.23 billion surplus in October.

For all of 2011, South Korea posted a current account surplus of $27.65 billion.
