Sirit Inc. (SI.TO) announced it has entered into a strategic supply deal with 3M's Brazilian subsidiary for its RFID reader and tag technology, based upon open architecture protocols, to support transportation-related projects in the Brazilian market.

The company noted that this deal builds upon the Global Cooperative Marketing Deal that was signed earlier this year between 3M's Traffic Safety Systems Division and it.

The company stated that the strategic partnership both the companies has resulted in a successful proof of concept for tolling applications in many States such as Rio Grande do Sul and Rio de Janeiro.
