Meda (MDABF.PK) said it reached an agreement with the Swiss pharma company Roche (RHHBY.PK) to acquire four pharmaceutical products. The purchase price is 120 million euros or approximately SEK 1.13 billion.
The products to be acquired are Marcoumar, an anticoagulant, Torem, a loop diuretic, Tilcotil, a NSAID drug for the treatment of painful inflammatory and degenerative disorders of the musculoskeletal system and Aurorix, an antidepressant.
Meda noted that it would acquire worldwide rights to the products and the most important markets include Germany, Spain, Switzerland, USA and France.
