Friday, Prestige Telecom Inc. (PR.V) reported a net loss of C$1.6 million or C$0.03 per share for the first quarter compared to net income of C$0.1 million in the year-ago quarter. Excluding special items, first-quarter pro forma net income was C$0.3 million or C$0.00 per share.
Total sales for the quarter increased 47% to C$12.6 million from the corresponding quarter last year.
