Lyris Swigs to Loss in Q4 - Quick Facts

Wednesday, Lyris Inc. (LYRI.OB) reported a fourth-quarter loss of $2.0 million or $0.02 per share, compared to net income of $2.1 million or $0.02 per share in the same quarter a year ago.

On a non-GAAP basis, the net loss in the quarter was $839,000, or $0.01 per share, versus non-GAAP net income of $2.2 million, or $0.02 per diluted share, in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2007.

Revenues for the quarter were $10.8 million flat with the revenues in the fourth quarter a year ago.

For the full year 2008, net loss was $5.5 million or $0.06 per share, compared to net income of $351 thousand or breakeven per share in fiscal 2007. On a non-GAAP basis, net income was $2.2 million or $0.02 per share, compared to net income of $3.2 million or $0.03 per share the year ago.

Revenue for the full fiscal 2008 increased to $43.2 million from $39.0 million in fiscal 2007.
