Network Equipment Technologies, Inc. (NWK) announced that its subsidiary Quintum Technologies entered Netopolis, a value-added distributor in Lisbon, Portugal, to manage its efforts in developing its Tenor VoIP switch and gateway business.
The company noted that Netopolis provides extensive outbound marketing to both resellers and end users with advertising, telemarketing, road shows and targeted web-based lead generation efforts.
The company stated that its deal with Netopolis would enable it to expand its business efforts in Portugal, particularly as it relates to Microsoft.
