German Unemployment Falls More Than Expected

Germany's unemployment fell 26,000 in October, smaller than the revised 28,000 decline recorded in September, official data showed Thursday. However, the current decrease was more than double the expected fall of 10,000. Initially, the September fall was reported 29,000.

Similarly, the jobless rate declined to 7.5% in October from 7.6% September, while economists were expecting the rate to remain stable at 7.6%.
