Monday, Amtech Systems Inc. (ASYS) announced that its solar subsidiary, Tempress Systems Inc., received a follow-on multi-system order for its diffusion processing equipment from an existing customer in Asia. The order for multiple systems is expected to ship within the next six to nine months, the company added.
Amtech Systems manufactures capital equipment, including silicon wafer handling automation, thermal processing equipment and related consumables used in fabricating solar cells and semiconductor devices.
