Earnings Watch For January 27 (D, CVX, F, HON, PG)

Utility company Dominion Resources, Inc. (D) is slated to report results for the fourth quarter. The company is expected to record a profit of $0.64 per share on revenues of $3.98 billion. In the year-ago quarter, the company earned $0.63 per share on revenues of $3.75 billion. The company's shares closed Thursday's regular trade at $50.85. (The stock up about 6% in Q1; MA(50)- $51.14; MA(100)- $50.71; 52-wk H/L $53.68/$42.91)

Chevron Corp. (CVX) is due to post quarterly results. For the fourth quarter, the integrated energy company is expected to earn $2.85 per share versus $2.44 per share last year, with revenues estimated at $70.96 billion. On the NYSE, CVX closed Thursday's session at $106.59. (The stock rose almost 18% in Q1; MA(50)- $103.86; MA(100)- $101.64; 52-wk H/L $110.99/$86.68)

Ford Motor Co. (F) is scheduled to report fourth-quarter results. Earnings and revenue for the quarter are expected to be $0.25 per share and $32.09 billion respectively. A year earlier, the company reported earnings of $0.30 per share on revenues of $30.30 billion. On Thursday, the stock closed at $12.79. (The stock declined around 14% in Q1; MA(50)- $11.07; MA(100)- $10.97; 52-wk H/L $17.88/$9.05)

Honeywell International Inc. (HON) is expected to report results for the fourth quarter. The company is expected to report earnings of $1.04 per share, higher than last year's $0.87 per share, on revenues of $9.56 billion. HON closed Thursday's session at $57.83. (The stock gained nearly 11% in Q1; MA(50)- $54.44; MA(100)- $51.26; 52-wk H/L $62.28/$41.22)

Procter & Gamble Co. (PG) is due to post quarterly results. For the second quarter, the consumer goods giant is expected to earn $1.08 per share versus $1.13 per share last year, with revenues estimated at $22.19 billion. On the NYSE, PG closed Thursday's session at $64.80. (The stock dropped around 4% in Q1; MA(50)- $64.89; MA(100)- $64.23; 52-wk H/L $67.72/$57.56)

D.R. Horton, Inc. (DHI), Hanesbrands Inc. (HBI), Legg Mason, Inc. (LM), T. Rowe Price Group, Inc. (TROW), Newell Rubbermaid Inc. (NWL) and Altria Group, Inc. (MO) will also post their results today.
