Mariah Carey's video for "H.A.T.E.U.," the new single from Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel, dropped this week. The video was helmed by feature film and music video director Brett Ratner, and features the pop diva on a Malibu beach.
"H.A.T.E.U." is the third single from Carey's new album, which debuted in September. A remix of the song is expected to be released soon. It was produced by Jermaine Dupri and features additional verses from Big Boi, Gucci Mane and OJ Da Juiceman.
Carey's Memoirs has not moved as many copies as was expected, so Carey is remixing the entire album. When it was originally released, it debuted at number three on the Billboard 200, selling 168,000 copies. The remixed version of the album is due out sometime in February.
The album will be re-worked by producers Swizz Beatz and Christopher "Tricky" Stewart, and will feature appearances by Trey Songz, R. Kelly and T-Pain.
