Saudi Arabia has condemned what it called Israel's continuation of racist practices against the Palestinians.
"Israeli settlers in the West Bank are attacking mosques and continuing occupation activities in territories of Palestinians and the occupied Golan of Syria, defying the will of the international community," Saudi King Abdullah told the weekly meeting of the Council of Ministers in capital Riyadh on Monday.
He also briefed the Council on his discussions with Prime Ministers David Cameron (Britain), Wen Jiabao (China) and Muhammad Basindwa (Yemen). The King also briefed the Ministers on a letter he received from Spanish King Juan Carlos and a message sent to United States President Barack Obama.
The Council reviewed a number of economic, cultural and environmental activities including the signing of the SR 30.82 billion ($8.218 billion) contract for the second phase of the Haramain High Speed Railway linking the two holy cities of Makkah and Madinah, the Arab News reported.
