Sarah Palin has reportedly thrown her support behind former Delaware Senate candidate Christine O'Donnell once again. This time, however, the original "Mama Grizzly" would like to see her Tea Party darling as a contestant on ABC's "Dancing With the Stars."
According to a new report from PopEater.com, the former Alaska governor has used her newfound influence in the television business to plug O'Donnell to ABC execs.
"Sarah is a genius at marketing herself and her message," a source told PopEater's Rob Shuter. "She doesn't care about all the old rules about how political people are meant to behave and act. Sarah believes the best way is to go directly to the people - use Twitter, Facebook, 'Dancing With the Stars' and 'Entertainment Tonight' to get potential voters excited and leave 'Meet The Press' and those boring Sunday morning shows to the old-school politicians."
And while the suggestion may leave some "DTWS" fans scratching their heads, it seems O'Donnell is at least a fan of the show. Last week she updated Twitter friends to let them know she cast her vote for Palin's daughter Bristol, who came in third place this season.
"I just voted for Bristol on 'DWTS'!" O'Donnell wrote. "She's enduring a lot & should be proud. It's shameful the way she is being attacked."
