iRobot Corp. (IRBT) reported fourth quarter EPS of $0.38 per share after the close Wednesday, compared to $0.26 per share last year. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $0.32. The company expects to report first quarter EPS between a loss of $0.08 and break-even. Full year 2012 EPS is expected to be between $0.75 and $0.95. The consensus estimates are for EPS of $0.30 and $1.45.
iRobot has gapped open dramatically lower Thursday and is now down 11.42 at $26.88 on strong volume. The stock has dropped to a 4-month low and has fallen below both its 50 and 200-day moving averages.
