Equifax Inc. (EFX) reported fourth quarter adjusted EPS from continuing operations of $0.68 after the close Wednesday, which topped the consensus estimate of $0.67. First quarter adjusted EPS from continuing operations is expected to be between $0.64 and $0.67, compared to the consensus estimate of $0.63.
Shares of Equifax have been rising steadily since the open Thursday and are now up 2.13 at $41.53. The stock has broken out of a month and a half long range and has set a new high for the year.
