Lennar Corp. (LEN: Quote) reported first quarter EPS of $0.08 Tuesday morning, down from $0.14 in the prior year period. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $0.04. Revenues improved to $724.86 million, from $558.04 million in the prior-year quarter.
Lennar Corp. gapped open higher Tuesday and climbed in early trade, before settling into a range. The stock finished up by 1.23 at $27.63 on the highest volume of the year. Lennar broke out of a 2-week trading range and set a new high for the year.
