Akon is back on the scene with "Americas Most Wanted," the first single to be taken off his oft-delayed upcoming full length, Stadium, tentatively scheduled to drop September 11.
"You're America's most wanted tonight/ I'll do my 25 to life if I can have you by my side," sings the Konvict Muzik CEO.
"America's Most Wanted" was premiered at the 2012 Victoria Secret Fashion Show. Ironically enough, Akon performed "Angel," the original single from Stadium, at the 2010 Victoria Secret Fashion Show. The song was written by Akon, David Guetta and Sandy Wilhelm, and produced by Guetta and Sandy Vee. The single was scrapped as Stadium was again pushed back. The album was originally slated to be released in 2010.
Stadium is Akon's first full length since 2008's Freedom.
