Mick Fleetwood thinks highly of teen singer Miley Cyrus, the Fleetwood Mac drummer revealed in a recent interview. Speaking to Day & Night at the Mouche Gallery in LA, at an exhibition of his wildlife photography, the drummer, 64, acknowledged his admiration for the former Hannah Montana star.
"It may surprise you but I think Miley Cyrus is a great talent," Fleetwood explained. "She reminds me of Dolly Parton vocally."
The drummer concluded: "I am a big fan and admire her."
Fleetwood also recently expressed his admiration for former Fleetwood Mac member Bob Welch, who was found dead on June 7 after committing an apparent suicide.
"He was a very, very profoundly intelligent human being and always in good humor, which is why this is so unbelievably shocking," Fleetwood said in a statement.
The 66-year-old guitarist and vocalist was with Fleetwood Mac from 1971 to 1974.
